Meet the
ARTIST
My name is Sam Anderson. I recently graduated this May from Virginia COmmonwealth University School of the Arts with a B.F.A in Communication Arts with a Concentration in Visual Effects and a Minor in Animation.
I began my journey from the age of 10 making lego stop motion animation. Film was always a passion of mine, but I was especially interested in making the fantastical worlds from my imagination a reality. During covid, that inspiration led me to Visual Effects and 3D Art. I pursued that passion in college and through my two Internships with STUDIONYC and Kineo Motion Design.

I specialize in Visual Effects Compositing and the 3D Generalist pipeline. I have a strong skills in everything from Modeling, Texturing, Rigging, and Animation.
I’m proficient in Autodesk Maya, Blender, Nuke, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere.
